Rum Distillery Tour in St. Lucia

Our rum distillery tour in St. Lucia picks you up from your hotel and takes you to Saint Lucia Distillers in Roseau for a look around and a tasting. Someone else drives, so nobody in your group has to stay sober.

It's about three hours, leaving at 9 am, and $70 USD per person.

How the rum tour runs

Discover Saint Lucia's rum-making tradition at Saint Lucia Distillers in Roseau, with transport and a tasting included.

We collect you from your hotel in the morning. Then south, past Castries, to Roseau on the west coast.

On the way, your driver points out the villages and valleys you'd never see from a hotel window, and answers the question everyone asks: which rum do locals actually drink?

It's where Chairman's Reserve and the island's other rums are made. You'll see how it's done, then sit down to taste it.

What's in the glass?

The rums poured change from day to day, so every tasting is a little different. Expect a mix of styles, from the light rums behind most island cocktails to darker ones made for sipping.

Not drinking? Non-drinkers and guests under 18 are welcome on the tour. They come along for the visit but don't take part in the tasting, and the ticket price is the same for everyone.

A rum tasting in St. Lucia without the drive

Saint Lucia drives on the left, and the roads are steep and winding. After a tasting, you don't want to be the one at the wheel.

Your driver takes you there and back, with time at the distillery shop if you'd like a bottle for home.
